James Parker Coach Productivity Christian

Hi, I’m James, a Christian productivity coach, husband, dad of four, and fellow struggler in the fight for clarity.
For years, I wrestled with how to be faithful across all the roles God has given me, at work, at home, in ministry. I constantly felt like I was doing a lot, but not always what mattered most. I was pulled in too many directions, and it felt like I was failing at all of them.
That started to change when I picked up The ONE Thing, a book by Gary Keller and Jay Papasan. It gave me language and tools to focus my energy, say no with confidence, and build a life that was aligned with what God was actually calling me to. As I started living out those principles, I found myself not just more grounded, but more effective. Eventually, I was invited to serve as the operations manager for the #1 real estate team in our office, a role that tested and strengthened everything I was learning.
Around the same time, I started teaching the material to coworkers, and it struck a chord. One asked if I’d coach them through it. Then the leadership team brought me on to coach their entire leadership staff. Eventually, I got certified with The ONE Thing and began coaching people outside my organization.
By 2019, I had formally launched my coaching practice, and since then, I’ve logged over 2,000 coaching calls with entrepreneurs, creatives, ministry leaders, and professionals across a wide range of industries. Most of those clients came in overwhelmed or stuck. I’ve had the joy of helping them untangle what matters most, build momentum with purpose, and make confident decisions rooted in their values.
In 2023, I began focusing on coaching Christians, because I believe you shouldn’t have to check your faith at the door to get help with your calendar, business, or priorities. To me, productivity isn’t about getting more done, it’s about getting the right things done, growing in obedience, stewardship, and sanctification in every area of life.
My background is in business administration, finance, and real estate. I’ve also served in church ministry for years, including church planting and international pastoral training. Today, I serve as an elder at my local church.
I’ve been learning how to be married since 2006 to my incredibly patient wife, Kimiko. We have four wonderful kids (ages 7–16) who daily remind me that growth, grace, and patience start at home.
If you’re craving clarity, traction, and a more faithful way to live and work, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
